A Baby Quilt and Cards

Good afternoon,

Been busy today with……housework!!!  Also started a bit of yard work, mainly cleaning up leaves from last autumn.  A bit chilly but bearable to be outside with a jacket so I took advantage of the fair weather.

Today I’d like to share with you the quilt I made for my new granddaughter, Genevieve, born February 15.  I chose a simple flower machine applique design.  This is, by far, my most favorite technique.  Everything is PINK, of course.  A easy flower with a yellow center surrounded by pink polkadot lattice.  Matching pillow completed the set.

And here is a signature plate I include on all my quilts.

While I’m at it, here are two mini art quilts which I tried out quite some time ago. They were fun to make and I plan to make more in the future.  One I kept, the other I gave away.  The possibilities are endless.

And, of course, a few cards.  This is the magazine I’m featuring this week, “Due-Cutting Essentials, Issue #32.  It came with a free and very beautiful floral die, Cherry Tree. Here is the free die.

Here are the cards I made.I will definitely be using this die again.

Want to wish everyone a “Happy Spring” and/or “Happy Easter”.

See you all again next week.

Linda

the one you gave away I still have hanging on my friendship wall and love looking at it especially when I am not feeling well or down and out. Knowing you care is more than a person can ask for

Linda the quilt is absolutely beautiful! What a nice heirloom for Genevieve. And I love all of your cards too.
